Finally! A picture of all of my kids together! I haven’t gotten a shot of them together since I did the pics for our xmas cards last year. I’ve been dying to get a shot worthy enough to be printed out HUGE so that I could display it proudly on my living room wall. This is it! And the other two below are hung up right next to this one. I’ve been trying to redo my house, hopefully I can post a few pics of it soon. Figures, I forgot to take “before” shots.
You would not believe how much work this shot was. And the main culprit giving me the trouble was the littlest monster. Man, I’ve got my hands full with that one. I thought the curly haired cutie was going to make me loose it. But little Lukas has topped them all! I guess his big bros taught him well…and he took it to a whole new level! LOL!

Niko is a total sweetheart and I’m about to loose him to kindergarten…sniff sniff. He is such a lovable kid and my little helper. He’s pretty nervous to go to school so that’s making it harder on me…yeah, I said “me”! The only time I’ve been away from him is when I had his brothers or when he sleeps over at his aunt’s house. Ok, so I’m definitely the one having a harder time with him starting school! You can’t blame me, I haven’t sent one of my kids off to kindergarten in about 9 years…yup that means my daughter is going into 8th grade! High school next year…help!

I love this shot of Julian! It’s his classic pouty face. I’d say he looks like this in 90% of the pics I’ve taken of him. He just likes to be, how should I put this…difficult! Pretty much he wants to do the opposite of what you want him to do (doesn’t sound like me at all!
. So, I need to remember that if I want him to smile I need to tell him not to!

I can’t believe he’s already 5! Where did my little baby go?! I am so thankful for this little man. I never thought I’d have a boy, always thought I’d have 2 girls and that’s it. Wow, was I wrong! One girl and THREE boys! Niko was my first boy. He is the sweetest, most affectionate little man. He is truly a mama’s boy and I love it! I never get tired of hearing “mom, you’re so pretty” or “mom, I love you so so so sooooo much”. He has such a big heart and his big ol brown eyes just make me melt. ♥

Birthday special! Save $5 off of any three $9.50 patterns in my Romeo&Mae shop!

Finally, I’ve added the Mia Ruffle Booty Bloomers pattern to my shop! I started on the pattern almost two months ago and just got around to finishing it. I’ve been dying to use these gorgeous photos that Kristy Lane took for me of her darling little girl. Thanks again Kristy!

Why is it that you could receive a hundred compliments and the one complaint you get is what you remember and sticks with you? Personally, it eats at me. I dwell it. I’m working on this though, I’m trying not to let someone’s harsh, unsolicited words bring me down. After all I AM my own boss. Not everyone has the guts to start their own business, small or large. I need to give myself more credit. I am the only one running this business. I am the designer, the accountant, the customer service rep…the boss! I know that I put my whole heart into whatever I do. I’m going to take the harsh words, put them in a box and throw them in the river. The compliments are going to hang on my wall in my office so I can see them every day!
So why does someone feel the need to tear someone else down? Jealousy, that’s my guess. Isn’t that why girls are mean to each other in school? So dumb. And quite often I try to remind Paige of this. I know that 7th grade can be tough. She seems to handle it well. She tells me that she doesn’t understand why anyone would be jealous of the deaf girl. I tell her “You are so much more than that. You are an awesome person, smart, funny and beautiful.” She shines, she really does. Sometimes out of no where she will repeat some of the words of wisdom that I pass onto her and it reminds me what a good job I’m doing as a mother.

Whoooo! I finally added a few new patterns to my store. Just a few accessories to make life easier. The diaper clutch and the changing pad are quick projects and are great for beginners.
Off to sew some more goodies!

Wow, I haven’t offered a new pattern in a while! I know, I’ve been totally slacking. Well, not really…the kids pretty much prevent me from being lazy. Hopefully this week I’ll have this little cutie bootie pattern listed.
