Man, I must love this new blog.  I’m working on my 3rd post of the day!  Don’t get used to it though!

I just had to post this pic of my girl.  Paige is going to be 13 this year.  Man, it seems like it was just yesterday that I was struggling to pull together the few hairs she had on her head and make a ponytail.  I couldn’t even do this on the back of her head where most ponytails take place.  I  had to put hers on top of her head!  When I’d put two of them I’d constantly hear how much she looked like Cindy Lou Who from the Grinch movie.  She was too cute!

So she just started 7th grade.  I’m nervous for her.  Shoot, the homework last year was hard…for me! LOL!  I know she’ll do fine though, she always has.  With her being deaf I was worried for a long time that she would feel left out from the other kids and have such a different life.  Well, she totally proved me wrong!  She’s been going to a regular school since 2nd grade.  She’s right there with all of the hearing kids.  And actually getting better grades than alot of them!  She totally acts her age, talks back, throws fits, has friend and boy troubles.  But she still tells me constantly how much she loves me and that I’m the best mom in the world.

She’s like me, growing up there was a ton of different things I wanted to be when I grew up.  I could never decide on one so I guess that’s why I didn’t go to college (not having money to go didn’t help either!).  She wants to be a singer, song writer, a dancer, she wants to design clothes and now she’s taking up an interest in photography.  Whatever she chooses I’ll support her…hopefully she gives up on the singing though!  DO NOT tell I said that! LOL!
