Project 52 – week 2 – bokeh
This weeks theme is bokeh. I choose to photograph thread since sewing is a huge part of my life and business. The best way for me to explain bokeh to you is by having you read the definition: a Japanese term for the subjective aesthetic quality of out-of-focus areas of a photographic image. You can see how the threads and the carpet in front of them are in focus, the background is all blurry. Bokeh can be absolutely beautiful especially if you have some gorgeous lighting in back of the item you are focusing on.
