We threw a carnival themed birthday party for your two year old over 4th of July weekend. I was so excited how well everything came together. I wish that I was better at planning ahead though. Most of the decorations were made the morning of the party. I was actually still sewing together the crape paper 5 minutes before we walked out the door. And to give myself a little credit I did start everything the week before. But I got stumped on what I wanted to make and my best ideals just seem to always come at the last minute. So I guess no matter how far ahead of time I start I’ll still be working up to the deadline!
I just love how the main table turned out!
I made all of the birthday hats from scrapbook paper.
I loved his little birthday hat!

I put white and yellow mini marshmallows on top of the cupcakes to look like popcorn.
Some of the little carnival accents are from the scrapbooking section at JoAnn’s.

I found the vintage looking clowns and balloons on Etsy.
The kids loved helping themselves to all of the candy!
All of the glass candy jars are from the dollar store.
