Oh my gosh, do you ever feel like you’ve totally caught up?  I swear I don’t know what that feels like!  Maybe that means I take on too much…which wouldn’t be too hard to believe.  But really, how do I narrow it down?  There’s stuff I need to do and stuff I want to do.  I need to clean the house, give the kids a bath, answer customer questions, send out orders, take a nap (definitely a need at this point), etc.  I want to play with my new camera , design a new pattern, take me boys out so they can drive their powerwheels, take a break from work totally for one whole day.  How do you do it?  How do you run a business alone and take care of your family?  It’s hard wearing all of the hats in a business.  But I also have to admit it’s exciting and fulling knowing that this is all me.  I did this, ME!  Ok, so since I’ve worked so hard I’m going to give myself a pat on the back and a vacation day…here’s one for you too!

Oh, and who is that little cutie above?  That is Daniel, one of my oldest friend’s little boys.  I secretly took pics of him while she was away.  She hadn’t had any profession photos done of him so I thought that she would totally appreciate it.  Finally two weeks after I had taken them I was able to drop them off at her door step.  Man, I wish I could have seen her face when she opened them!  Made me smile though to know that something so simple could mean so much to someone.
